As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of exploring the delights of Vaso Azzurro Ristorante. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the aroma of freshly baked focaccia bread and a delectable olive oil herb dip. The staff's friendly and attentive nature added to the overall dining experience, making me feel truly welcomed.

One of the standout dishes I indulged in was the lobster ravioli, featuring a unique black and white striped raviolo bathed in a velvety vodka cream sauce. The marriage of flavors in this dish left me craving more. The fresh tomatoes added a burst of tanginess that perfectly complemented the rich creaminess of the sauce.

To end the meal on a sweet note, I savored a heavenly tiramisu that truly captured the essence of classic Italian desserts. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving me with a feeling of pure satisfaction.

Had a fabulous dinner last night. Pollo was seasoned wonderfully with the Penne, followed by an excellent Tiramasu. Michael, one of the co-owners was wonderfully engaging -- give him any small excuse he will share his professionally training singing.

I've been here a few times and it's always great! This is one of my favorite Italian places in South Bay. I usually get their pastas and it's always so flavorful - I think their best one is the spaghetti carbonara. They also change up their specials. I've tried the salmon and enjoyed it a lot. Price wise, it is also quite decent. Each meal also comes with free bread, which is quite tasty! The ambiance is very casual, it's a great place for any occasion!

Located at the end of Castro Street, right next to the Mountain View train station, Vaso Azzurro Ristorante is a hidden gem that offers a delightful dining experience. The subtle decor and charming outdoor seating create an inviting atmosphere that we absolutely love. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. One of the highlights is the house-made focaccia bread, served with a delectable olive oil herb dip that sets the tone for the meal. Vegetarians will find plenty to enjoy on the menu, including the bruschetta and aubergine stew. These dishes are packed with flavor and pair wonderfully with the bread and a glass of wine. A must-try is their lobster ravioli, featuring a signature black and white striped raviolo served in a perfect vodka cream sauce. The tomatoes in the dish are perfectly chunky, adding a tangy zing that complements the rich, creamy sauce. To top off the meal, don't miss their tiramisu. It's a delightful, "mamma mia!" experience that rounds out the culinary journey at Vaso Azzurro. In summary, Vaso Azzurro Ristorante is a fantastic spot for both locals and visitors. With its delicious food, friendly service, and cozy ambiance, it's a standout dining destination in Mountain View. Make sure to also spend some time on Castro Street, which gets very lively on a summer weekend. They have lots of activities like singing and dancing. You can easily spend time walking along the curb and the street, enjoying the pubs and resto bars. The vibrant atmosphere is the perfect complement to your dining experience.

Welcome Familia is the genuine feeling when you come through the doors, greeted with smiles. 1st time and certainly not my last time Enjoyed a smooth 2019 Barbera accompanied by lobster raviolis and seafood azzoro (pasta), and ended our night with teramasu and cheesecake. Throughout our dinner, service perfecto. You can't go wrong with this gem
